Milwaukee man faces charges of repeated sexual assault of a child

MILWAUKEE – A Milwaukee man made his first court appearance Sunday on charges of repeatedly sexually assaulting a child.

Antonio Randolph, 37, is charged with Repeated Sexual Assault of the Same Child (at least 3 violations of 1st Degree Sexual Assault) and another count of Repeated Sexual Assault of the Same Child.

Milwaukee County Circuit Court Commissioner Barry Phillips said the boy was 13 on the first count.

“32 years later, when I talk about myself, you think you’re going to see it all, and then something happens that lets you know you’ll never see it all,” Phillips said.

He read portions of the criminal complaint, which alleges Randolph and a friend met with the 13-year-old girl who had run away from home.

Prosecutors said the man took her to a house and tried to have sex with her. He then took her to her grandmother’s house, locked her in the basement and attempted to have sex again several times, the court commissioner said.

Prosecutors said Randolph left the girl with a friend who tried to do the same thing.

Phillips read that Randolph and the girl were allegedly seen on the street by someone who knew the girl’s family. That person informed them and the family came and beat Randolph.

“And it’s posted on Facebook. Phillips told the court that the person you allegedly had sex with as a child also watched the video and said, ‘This is the man who raped me when I was a child.’

TMJ4 has requested the full criminal complaint from the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.

Randolph is being held on $50,000 cash bail. His next hearing will be a preliminary hearing on December 3 at 13:30.
