Detroit Lions Amon-Ra St. Brown is not practicing Monday ahead of the Bears game.

Detroit Lions Several key members of their roster left Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts with injuries at some point. While David Montgomery, Kalif Raymond and Carlton Davis did not return, Taylor Decker returned to the game after his illness.

Coach after Sunday’s match Dan Campbell Montgomery explained that he does not think Raymond and Davis’ injuries will be long-term, but Raymond may need some more time to recover.

Montgomery is dealing with a shoulder injury, while Decker reportedly suffered both knee and ankle injuries after rolling in the third quarter. Raymond landed awkwardly and was ruled out for the remainder of the game with a foot injury, while Davis left with a reported knee injury.

What They Say: Lions ‘Love’ Fans Taking Over Stadiums

Decker, Davis and Montgomery They all spoke to the media after the match. Montgomery said he expects to be ready for Thursday’s game, but the Lions need to be careful with players who have a short preparation week.

The veteran offensive lineman explained the impact of being on a team that started 10-1 after enduring the team’s struggles early in his career.

“Obviously it’s huge and you can never take winning for granted. Sometimes maybe we don’t play perfectly offensively, and we’ve had some really good games, so that’s become an expectation for us,” Decker said. “I’ll never take winning a game for granted. This is the football match in the league. They had talented players and were doing a lot defensively; They were moving and putting pressure. It’s just special. Personally, I have been on bad teams, for lack of a better term. It’s a good feeling to know that you can go out there and give each opponent their best shot and still win.”

davis He’s the second injured cornerback the Lions may be concerned about ahead of a short week ahead of their Thursday matchup against the Green Bay Packers. Rookie Terrion Arnold did not pitch against the Colts after suffering a groin injury. Arnold first appeared on the injury report before last Thursday’s game against the Colts.

Wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown also appeared on the injury report as a nonparticipant, but all assignments were projected as a result of an evaluation the Lions conducted on Monday.
