Food bank in Pueblo hosts Thanksgiving food pantry on Monday

PUEBLO — Families in Pueblo will have a happy Thanksgiving. The RMSER Empowerment Center hosted a Thanksgiving food pantry on Monday.

More than 300 families managed to collect different ingredients for their holiday meals.

“It’s really nice that they’re doing this for people who really need it, and it’s a blessing from God that they’re doing this for us,” Pueblo resident Luis Valdez said.

On Tuesday, there will be a turkey basket raffle from 10 a.m. to noon at the Harley Davidson Outpost on North Elizabeth Street in Pueblo.
