Stratford stabbing with screwdriver: Images of wanted man revealed

Footage of a man wanted in connection with an attack in east London that left the victim with life-changing injuries has been released by police.

Tom Savage, 36, was stabbed 19 times with a screwdriver while walking his dog in Mirabelle Gardens, Stratford, on August 19 and has had difficulty walking and seeing since.

CCTV footage shows the last known sighting of the suspect getting off the Elizabeth line train at Whitechapel station.

Det Sergeant Simon Wheeler, of the Metropolitan Police, said: “We continue to investigate this horrific attack and are appealing to the public for urgent help.”
