Bisous Bisous Patisserie

The restaurant, a longtime favorite of Eater Dallas, closed its doors permanently on October 21. In a recent Instagram post, owners Andrea and Matt Meyer wrote: “Y’all, we will never have these words. Thank you so much for embracing our dream for 10 years. A truly bittersweet magnificence, we say son au revoir. It was previously announced that the bakery would be closing following Andrea’s ongoing struggles after being diagnosed with bone cancer in 2018. Andrea was both chef and owner. When the closing was announced, Meyers also owned Meaders Ozarow. Empire Baking Company will take over the space and remain a bakery.

What’s the status of the multiple closures at this West Dallas complex? Dallas Observer sister of Sylvan Avenue Tavern Bryan Street TavernIt was the fifth job to leave the building. One Facebook post On November 4, the owners announced the venue was closing, writing: “The complex is dying and we lost four more businesses before making the decision to close. And now we are the fifth person to leave. “We enjoyed our time there, but we made it one day without the support of the property owners.”

Cocktail bar Jettison closed in October, while breakfast and lunch cafe Shayna’s Place was closed during the summer months, as were Cooper’s Meat Market and Steakhouse. Craft & Co. It also closed at some point last year. Seven restaurants remain open for now.
