Stabbing suspect arrested – Itemlive

Monday night at approximately 7:53 p.m., Lynn Police responded to a report of a stabbing at 120 Liberty Street.

“Officers located a 37-year-old male victim suffering from significant stab wounds,” according to a press release sent out by the Lynn City Police Department.

Responding officers provided life-saving care, which included the use of multiple tourniquets. The man was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital via Medflight and is expected to recover from his injuries.

The incident was connected to an argument that occurred outside 100 Willow Street, the statement said. Alejandro Esteban, 54, of Lynn, was arrested and charged with armed assault and murder.

The Department recognized the life-saving actions of the First Division officers who responded to the call and the work of Criminal Investigation Division Detectives and Massachusetts State Police.
