The young man stabbed in Bath was referred to the courthouse

A teenager appeared in court following a stabbing incident in Bath.

Harley Morgan, 18, of Blagdon Park, Whiteway, is charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed instrument in a public place.

The charges relate to an incident in Terrace Walk, Bath, at around 03:00 GMT on 24 November.

A man suffered serious injuries that are believed to be life-changing and remains in hospital in a stable condition.

Mr Morgan was remanded in custody following his appearance at Bristol Magistrates’ Court and will later appear at Bristol Crown Court on January 6.

A 19-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released on bail pending further investigation.
