Man arrested for speeding 135 mph on Caloosahatchee Bridge

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Florida Highway Patrol arrested a drunk driver who was speeding across the Caloosahatchee Bridge.

FHP said the man was driving his Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat at 138 mph in the 45 mph zone of the bridge.

While arresting the man, troopers found an open bottle of Crown Royal and a bag of cocaine in his back pocket.

FHP says they are grateful it was stopped before it caused a holiday weekend tragedy in X.
