Red Bull Sister Team VCARB Will Be Named Changed for 2025

Red Bull’s sister teamknown as VCARBIt is preparing for another name change next season. The team raced as AlphaTauri in 2023 and rebranded as Visa Cash App RB, giving it three different identities over just two Formula One seasons.

The team had operated under the name Scuderia Toro Rosso since 2006, before adopting the name Scuderia AlphaTauri in 2020. formula.huIt will be rebranded as Racing Bulls from 2025. As a result, the current design and exterior of the car is expected to undergo a significant transformation to adapt to the new identity.

Despite the planned name change, VCARB’s partnership with sponsors Visa and Cash App will continue under the same terms. Although the logos appear smaller on the car, this update is expected to better reflect the team’s corporate commitment by streamlining both sponsorship and marketing efforts.

The report comes as VCARB CEO Peter Bayer recently revealed the team’s priorities, listing the team’s identity as Red Bull’s junior team as last on the list. he said racingnews365.com:

“I’m almost allergic to the ‘youth team’.

“But it’s good to hear and discuss it.

“The young team thing actually stems from the fact that the shareholders have different missions. It starts with being competitive on the track and continues with being commercially successful.”

“To achieve both of these clearly measurable goals, they want us to add a certain cool and fun factor, which is what we do with the uniforms, the music, the content and the people we surround ourselves with.

“But the fourth thing is to develop young drivers. So we have a Red Bull pyramid that starts from karting and goes all the way to F4, F3 and F2. We have incredible talent coming to us and they want to sit in.”

He added:

“So you have four goals and you need to find a compromise between those four to make sure you bring everything together in the best way possible.

“That’s why I don’t like the youth team part, because being successful on the track (and) commercially is the first thing.”

Stating that VCARB works independently to achieve its own goals, especially under the active leadership of team boss Laurent Mekies, Bayer said:

“So long story short, we stand on our own two feet, we invest heavily in facilities and people.

“Laurent has completely disrupted the entire technical sports team.

“In fact, many people have joined us or will join us, in fact, with an unheard of, unprecedented, tree-shaking approach, and we will only see the results of this in the future.”
