Two people died in a fire at homes near 29th Street and 51st Street in Cicero, Illinois, the spokesman said.

CICERO, Illinois (Wales) — A deadly fire engulfed two homes in the western suburbs on Wednesday morning.

Chopper 7 was on the scene as dozens of firefighters battled the flames on Cicero near 29th Street and 51st Street.

A spokesman for the city of Cicero said two people died as a result of the fire.

It is not known which house the victims were from.

Authorities have not released any information about the victims.

It is unknown when the fire started. or what caused the fire.

Around 6 a.m., Chopper 7 was caught as a second house caught fire.

Roads in the area were still closed at 8.30am while police investigated the scene.
