2 More Accused Arrested in Pune, Total Number Reaches 18

In a new development in the Baba Siddique murder case, police arrested two more accused from Pune, Maharashtra, taking the total number of arrests to 18. On Wednesday, the 16th accused Gaurav Vilas Apune (23) was arrested from Pune’s Karbe Nagar. . NCP leader Baba Siddique was shot dead in Mumbai’s Bandra area on October 12.

The crime branch is investigating the high-profile murder case that took place during the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections.

In this case, 18 defendants have been arrested so far and 6 guns have been confiscated. According to the police, the sixth gun belonging to the accused Gaurav Apune was reportedly handed over to another person. Police are currently looking for the person who bought this gun.
