Man arrested after attack on Grassmarket street

A man has been arrested in connection with the attack in Edinburgh city centre.

The incident took place in the Grassmarket area on Thursday, September 26.

Police confirmed the arrest of a 20-year-old man but investigations are ongoing.

The arrest came after Police Scotland appealed to the public for information.

Detective Constable Mark Richmond said: “I would like to thank those who helped with our appeal.”
