Two killed in crash in southeastern South Dakota

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – A two-vehicle crash in South Dakota resulted in two deaths.

The crash occurred at 10:05 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, three miles south of Harrisburg, South Dakota.

A 1999 Ford F-250 driven by a 59-year-old man was traveling southbound on SD Highway 115 near 276th Street. At the same time, a 2019 Toyota Camry driven by a 79-year-old man was traveling eastbound on 276th Street.

Authorities said the Camry entered the intersection after stopping at a stop sign and collided with the F-250.

The driver and 79-year-old female passenger in the Camry died at the scene. The F-250 driver was not injured.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

The names of the people involved in the incident were not disclosed.
