Jerry Jones: Cowboys ‘Not Playing Well with Dak at All’ Amid Post-Loss Concerns | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats and Rumors

B/R

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said after Sunday’s 34-6 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles that he was upset with the team’s struggles with and without quarterback Dak Prescott.

“I don’t mean to be sarcastic, but do you have the same arithmetic that I have? We won three games with Dak,” Jones said, according to ESPN. Todd Archer. “So I’m just saying Dak and I didn’t play well at all. So there’s a lot to work on here and we’re all aware of that and (it’s) very concerning.”

Prescott did not play against Eagles because he could potentially face season-ending surgery To repair a partially torn hamstring. He will fly to New York on Monday morning to see a specialist and will need three months to recover if a procedure is required through Archer.

Cooper Rush started Sunday’s contest, going 13-of-23 for 45 yards in the fourth quarter before being benched as backup to Trey Lance. Lance didn’t fare much better, completing four of his six pass attempts for 21 yards with an interception.

As a team, the Cowboys were only able to muster 146 total yards by turning the ball over five times.

While Prescott’s absence has clearly hurt Dallas’ offensive performance, the team has just a 3-5 record in eight games this season. He had already thrown eight interceptions after being ejected just nine times in 17 games in the 2023 season.

The Cowboys are currently in the midst of a four-game losing streak, with the first three losses coming while Prescott was at center.

Jones’ team will try to assuage their concerns and move on without the Pro Bowl signal-caller during their Week 11 matchup with the Houston Texans.
