Indiana County teen accused of stabbing mother – Butler Eagle

A 14-year-old girl has been charged with attempted murder after state police say she stabbed her mother Saturday night, Nov. 9.

Police said they were dispatched to a home on Graceton Village Road in Center Township, Indiana County, just after 10 p.m., where they learned the girl had stabbed her 41-year-old mother multiple times during a dispute.

The mother was airlifted to Allegheny General Hospital and was in critical condition, police said, and the girl was taken into custody without incident and charged through the Indiana County Probation Department.
