K-Pop Singer Rose Says She’s ‘Very Serious’ About Dating

Korean singer Rose from the group frequently BLACKPINKShe made headlines with her dating life. Rose, who admitted to being in “a few relationships” over the years, remains “very serious” about dating people. In a recent interview, the K-pop star got candid about her choices and also revealed that she prefers relationships over situational ones. The comment comes just weeks after rumors that Rose was dating ASTRO member actor Cha Eun Woo resurfaced online. Both Korean stars shared similar photos from an art exhibition, sparking controversy once again.

Meanwhile, during i-D’s interview, Rose, 27, opened up about whether or not she’s “involved” in dating too much. In an honest confession, she said, “I’m more of a relationship person, which is why people say, ‘Rosie, you’re still too young’; ‘I’m very serious about dating,’ etc.,” as quoted by Koreaboo. Asked if he trusted a dating app, he held back from commenting further, saying, “No comment.”

Earlier in an interview, the singer talked about her upcoming album Rosie while reflecting on her relationships. “I guess I’m grateful enough to have had a few relationships like a normal girl in her 20s. I want people to understand that I’m not that different from your average girlfriend or 23-year-old girl. If you listen to my songs and anyone is in that type of relationship, I’m probably very relatable. “It doesn’t even have to be about a boyfriend, just any kind of toxic relationship,” she said at the time.

Rosie, the singer’s first solo album, will be released on December 6, 2024. As for her dating life, aside from endless speculation with Cha Run Woo, Rose was also linked to South Korean actor Kang Dong Won last year. Reacting to the rumors, YG Entertainment made a statement and explained that this was a “private matter” for the artists. As the rumors intensified, the agency made another statement, “We are clarifying that the dating rumors reported today regarding Rose are true.” “This is not true and we would be grateful if you could help us prevent information from circulating that is not true.”
